Back to Blogging and November Exchange 2007 Help File Update

There has been a distinct lack of blog posts here for a couple of weeks, due largely to the fact that I was at TechEd EMEA in Barcelona last week. Believe it or not, I had a laptop-free week as I attended the event without it - this was planned! I shall collate my notes and type up what I can over the next few days or so.

I noted on my return that the November edition of the Exchange 2007 help file has been released. It contains a few new sections

1. ActiveSync and Mobile Device Access Issues
2. Dynamic Distribution Groups are not Visible in GAL After Migrating from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2007
3. Error Message When You Use the New-ActiveSyncVirtualDirectory Cmdlet: A Failure Occurred While Trying to Enable the ISAPI Filter
4. Event ID 490: Error Occurs When You Try to Mount the Mailbox Database or the Public Folder Database
5. HTTP 400 Bad Request Error When You Access an Exchange 2007 Mailbox
Registry-related Error Message When You Run an Exchange 2007 Cmdlet

It also contains updates to the following sections:

1. Data Path Security Reference
2. Database, Storage Group, and Information Store Service Issues
3. Exchange Management Console Errors and Issues
4. How to Create an Organizational Forms Library in Exchange 2007
5. How to Enable Anti-Spam Functionality on a Hub Transport Server
6. How to Install Exchange 2007 in an Existing Exchange Server 2003 Organization
7. Offline Address Book, Address List, and Recipient Issues
8. Outlook Web Access Issues
9. PBX Configuration Notes Tested by Microsoft or IP Gateway Vendor Partners
10. Standby Continuous Replication
11. Telephony Advisor for Exchange Server 2007
12. Transport Rule Actions

If any of the above sections are of interest to you, I'd recommend obtaining the latest version of the help file from the link above.
